Man, is it hot, hot, hot! Not fit for man nor beast outside! Freckles is getting a bath outside as I sit here and write...I guess that's a great way for him to cool off. His grooming appointment for last week got cancelled because of a funeral, so he is quite shaggy. He is rescheduled one week from tomorrow...poor dog!
Stitching: Not much happening...no actual stitching getting done...my Design Class is taking up all my time! I did receive my punchneedle kit and magazine in the mail. Still waiting for my orders from Stitches N Things and Stitching Bits and Bobs. I have a bad case of clicky-finger...I want to order more stuff...and yet I have no time to stitch! Right now I'm waiting until after July 1 to see if I still "desire" the items...then, if I do, Nordic Needle has a coupon for free Piecemaker Needles...my favorite! So that's my motivation to wait.
Other stuff: One project that has been ongoing is to scan all of our picture negatives and put them together on CDs for the kids. I've been using the negatives, and it's amazing how the color is so much better than the faded pictures in the album (does that make me feel old?) So, it is definitely a trip down memory lane. It just warms my heart to see my children filled with joyous anticipation/excitement that is captured in the various pictures. Truly a delight!
