Catching up!

Man, it's been almost a month since I've posted. So sorry! I've just been keeping my nose to the grindstone here. I do see the light at the end of the tunnel (so to speak), just need to keep plodding along!

In terms of my online class "Design Concepts", it's the last week! I was pleasantly surprised that all I need to do is evaluate 2 peers web design...shouldn't be bad. Last week's assignment kicked me in the behind. I had to add color and typography to my composite website. It was fun, but time was a major factor!

Stitching--I completed the first installment for VS Please Don't Eat the Daisies. I highly recommend these cyberclasses. The instructions are so complete and helpful, it is not painful at all! I haven't even begun looking at Week 2 yet!

Stash--Well, I finally received my DMC Color Variations floss. Should be a great addition to my stash. Also, I got my Teresa Layman's Snow White Red Rose...this is all done in knots...french and colonial...that should be interesting. I guess the first thing that struck me when I opened up the pack was....gee...this is soooo small! I guess I'll be hanging out under my Dazor...argh!

I also bought a couple of charts and mesh bags from Lois over at Elegant Stitch. This lady gives great service! I got Spring Morning and Summer Hearts from Wendy K.C. Designs. Two lovely designs...one is a Biscornu...which seems to be the latest rage in the stitching world. Now I'll have directions!

Health note: This past Tuesday I went to see an orthopedic surgeon (or I should say his nurse...lucky dr. was on vacation) I've been having problems with my ankle since March. Thought it was just a matter of a few tendons/ligaments and I'd be good as new...not to be. I was told my ankle/foot is filled with arthritis and my two options: total ankle replacement or ankle fusion. Not exactly what I wanted to hear! So now I'm doing research on the two procedures and I keep flip-flopping my opinion on which way to go. Both are quite drastic.
The opinions on both are as varied as can be. I will definitely have to keep praying about this matter...
