Hello everybody! Another month has rolled on by....the year is flying! We just got back from a 2 week vacation to the midwest. We travelled through 8 states...wowsers! We flew into Chicago Midway, drove up to GR, MI to visit the out-laws, drove north to Mackinaw City, took the ferry to Mackinack Island, drove through the UP (Upper Pennisula), crossed Wisconsin, tried to stay in Minneapolis, instead, drove west to Montevideo, to visit our oldest daughter and hubby. From there, we went to Sheldon, Iowa, (middle child and hubby) and then up a bit to Sioux Falls, SD, back to Sheldon, and then, finally, flew out of Omaha, NE. You probably only counted seven states...but don't forget...you must travel through Indiana to get from Chicago to Michigan! Ha...gotcha!
While on vacation, I did a little stash shopping. Went to a place called Country Needlework in Jenison, Michigan...kitted up a few things. I also visited Stitchville USA in Minnetonka, MN and two Hobby Lobbys...so I am pleased as punch!
I managed to finish 'Pledge of Allegiance' while on our trip. I need to iron it so I can attach two star buttons, then I will post a picture.
