Year end review...

What can I say? Life got crazy and I haven't picked up a needle in at least two months. I thought I was burnt out on stitching, but when I sat down the other night, it actually felt good! I also went through the blog archives to see my four years of posts. It made me happy and sad at the same time. I saw many projects that I seemed to have forgotten and yet love. So in 2011, I will not lust after new projects, but instead dig into 'my bag of tricks' for enjoyment.

Also, knitting has taken over as a coming passion. I call it a coming passion because I simply can't sit for hours doing it. I don't know if I get bored, or if I need to build up my knitting muscles...

Enough rambling...

Looking at my 2010 goals....
  • Birth Sampler
  • sock/slippers for grandbabies
  • start a canvas project
  • start a new cross stitch project
If you notice in the sidebar, they all have a big fat checkmark behind them! I only finished one pair of socks, but the promise of the others is in the horizon. Hey, at least I knit an actual sock and practiced all those fancy moves....aka heel turn, kitchener toe... For the canvas project, I started Oh My Stars by Needle Delights Originals. Bent Creek Snappers filled the bill for the cross stitch project.

I am still contemplating 2011...

Stay tuned! I promise I'll be back soon!
