Here I sit shaking my head in amazement. Where did December go? It was full speed ahead, and I was chugging along at a slower pace. Here is the only Christmas stitching I got done.....
As you can see, only the snowflake band got done.
And the only reason that much got done was because I was on the injured and disabled list for a few days. Of course, this all happened one week before Christmas...crunch time, and when I say 'crunch' that's exactly what happened. Something in my foot went crunch and 3 steps later I couldn't walk on it. Long story short, it's good again...actually better than before! But I lost a lot of prep time. Enough of my belly-aching, it is history!
So, we had a lovely wedding to attend last night for our niece. We left early because this morning we had to get up at 4:30 a.m. to take our Christmas guests to the airport. So, yes, I'm feeling like a zombie right about now. I have six days to recuperate and catch up, and then we get our next wave of company.
I have no idea what I'm in the mood to stitch at this point. Maybe I just need to get my basket out and find something that excites me. We shall see.
