End of September...

and it's STILL hot, hot, hot! 100+ degrees outside. BUT, the good news is that there's supposed to be a dramatic cool down coming this week. I can hardly wait. I am tired of sweating!

I have been home now for two weeks, and I'm back in the groove here. I am scheduled for jury duty tomorrow. Lucky me. We shall see. I get called for this once a year like clockwork. Usually it gets cancelled. But I've got a feeling about this time...stay tuned!

On to stitchy things. I've done a little knitting. I've read somewhere to stick to one hobby and do it well. That would be cross stitch. But some days I am soooo bored with it. My latest druel fests seem to happen with knitty sort of things. The problem is, I am not a patient person, I want to good at it. I forget that it takes practice! No! I want it now! So in order to practice my skill, there is this beginning knitting group on Ravelry, and this hat was the first project.... it will probably fit Ashley or Morgan in about five years. OK...blogger is being stubborn and will not let me type under the picture. Fine. I will end this post and start another!
