I've been done with Ladybug less than 24 hours and I already know what I'm doing next. I have tons of brand new things smiling up at me, and, instead, I have chosen this oldie but goodie!
There's quite the story behind this piece. Ten years ago we packed up our family (including dog) and moved from Minnesota to California. We were living in a rental house until we could find more permanent housing and I thought I'd have nothing to do. I happened to be subscribing to Stoney Creek at the time and saw the first installment of this mystery sampler and fell in love.
However, I never got very far...life turned out to be busier than anticipated. I think back...we had a daughter starting her senior year in high school, another daughter starting her junior year, and a son starting 8th grade. We drove across country with three vehicles and a dog. I'm thankful our kids still love us!
The only thing I don't like about this project, the colors seem quite faded, but I guess that makes it look like an heirloom?
