Aloooooooha!

Aloha! Yes, tomorrow we drive to San Francisco to catch a plane Tuesday morning for Hawaii! It will be good to park it and relax...our summer has been crazy! It feels good to finish up some goals here at home before we leave. This afternoon I finished a section on Tulip Study...so now I present to you at 25% complete....

I have another 1.5 at the bottom, and then I'll have the full length. I did have a few moments of panic that the fabric wasn't big enough! Mental note....always splurge and spend money for a bigger piece of fabric! It is very pretty..pictures don't do justice!

I'm taking BC Life is Good on the trip. I normally don't pack any cross stitch, but I figure this wouldn't take much room. I have a little magnifier, but I'm not taking a lamp. We're lucky enough we bought our tickets before United imposed the baggage fee....man, they take the fun out of traveling. If we want to eat on the plane, we need to buy a box lunch. Hubby thinks if we have a nice big breakfast at the airport, we can snack for 5 hours and eat when we arrive. Hehe...I think I'll keep some small bills handy for when that food cart comes down the aisle!

When we return, I'm going to work on BC Big Zipper...Tire Swing. One more installment after this one, and it will be done! And looking over my goals from my last post...I did manage to find sock yarn at Joann's! One step closer to them socks listed in my sidebar as a goal for the year!

Sorry this post seems so disjointed. I just wanted to post a picture because I know somebody keeps checking for updates on HER tulip picture! Love ya Tracy!
