I know it's been a while. I was gone from home for 25 days helping out with the new baby, and I feel like I'm incredibly behind on life!
I did finish Ashley's birth sampler yesterday. I'm a firm believer that stitching is like vacations...the day you start and the day you finish are the absolute best! I'm very good at following directions, so when I strayed off changing some colors, it was definitely out of my league! And Tigger has a lavender nose! That is definitely a mistake, but nobody noticed and I'm not changing it....makes for a good story to tell Ashley some day....
The new family is doing great...in fact, mommy goes back to work on Thursday and Ashley starts daycare. Mommy is getting a little teary-eyed at the thought, but this is life! I think she has 32 days of teaching to finish off the year, and then she'll be home for the summer.
So now Pooh is done, what's next on the stitching agenda? Well, my other daughter made the comment to me....'Mom, I don't have any of your stitching hanging in my house'.....so after a few emails back and forth, she happened to choose something that I already had in my stash! How cool is that? I will be doing Tulips Medley 1 by Kustom Krafts...
I bought a piece of Aida for it, but the margins will be only 2 inches...it should be fine, but one never knows!
I'm off to stich on BC Big Zipper!
