Here's an update on my BC Big Zipper.....this baby is huge!

I'm really excited about stitching again. I guess it helps when you have a finish every once in a while! I've been thinking about my stitching goals, and I came up with a list of the projects I really want to work on. The first three are already WIPs...the others are all kitted up and ready to start.
- BC Big Zipper (obviously)
- SC Winter Wonderland
- SC Heirloom Stitches
- DT Open Heart
- VS Christmas Village
- LJP Color Study: Starry Nights
- BC Snappers (the year thingie)
- Wendy K.C. Designs Spring Morning
And a special project to work on...a Birth Sampler! Our oldest daughter and husband visited in August and made a very special announcement...I'm going to be a Grandma! And this precious bundle is due around my birthday in March! So now comes the very special task of picking out just the right project for this event. Several ideas are bouncing around in this head of mine, but I want to go through all my magazines to see what's available there.
On the diet front. My total weight loss is up to 44.5 pounds! I'm melting, I'm melting! And it feels oh so good!
Summer travels. We went on a road trip! There's a gal at our church who attends Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. She needed her car there, but did not have the time/desire to drive herself. They were going to ship it for $1,100. We offered to drive it if they would buy our plane tickets back home. We spent a few days visitng my in-laws. The driving was great. The visit...well, what can I say? 12 hours too long for my pleasure? But it's not about me! We also spent a lot of time at the nursing home/dementia unit visiting my mother-in-law. Sad.
Hmmm....I think that's everything for now. I promise not to wait so long to post again!
