Here's my latest picture of Stoney Creek's Winter Wonderland. I was determined to finish the banner before I put it away. I would guestimate that this puts me over the half-way mark, but not quite two-thirds! Now I'll be working with Anchor floss instead of the perle cotton. I must admit, it takes getting used to in terms of the lay of the twist! The one thing I love about Stoney Creek is their incredible job at shading.
I just got DT Gameboard Sampler out. I think I may be a week behind, but I'll catch up quickly!
I'm still waiting for the rest of my supplies to start Laura J. Perin's Starry Nights. I have honestly forgotten what I ordered, but the lady assures it will be in the mail by the end of the week. I haven't ordered my thread yet for the Bent Creek Snappers. I bought fabric to do it 3 x 4, but now I'm thinking I'd rather do one long row...so I need to get another piece of fabbie! I've been a bit disappointed with service at some ONSs, so I'm a bit hesitant to try another new shop. There is one online shop that has incredibly low prices on GAST and WDW, but I'm wondering how long it would take to get my order. But, then again, who's in a rush? Too, I'm waiting to see what kind of birthday specials I'll be getting from Needlecraft Corner...it may be less stressful and cheaper to order there.
Yes, I have a birthday coming up on March 9. This is a biggie, folks...5-0!!! For some reason this is not bothering me (so far). I'm going to have a fun day with friends at noon time and family (twin bro) at night. The following week, we'll be traveling to the midwest to celebrate with our two daughters. What more could a person ask for!
